Greentea Peng, a London based singer, is gaining mainstream attention with her introspective songwriting and lo-fi music.
Having spent time in Hastings, East Sussex, and Mexico, the now 23 year old returned to the capital when she was in her teens and released her EP, Sensi, last year. She's now followed this up with her infectious track, Downers, which explores existentialism and life in London, and has appeared on Berlin based aesthetic music platform, Colors, for a performance which received nearly two million views. This year she'll perform as part of the inaugural Boiler Room Festival and celebrate the launch her new EP with a performance at Brixton’s Hootenanny in November.
